Multi-directional Forklift

4.0T Central Seat Electric Multi-directional Counterbalance Forklift MQK40

Load Capacity 4,000 kg at 600 mm load centre
Lift Height 4,500–7,500 mm

MQK40 is a 4.0-tonne central-seat electric multi-directional counterbalance forklift for long materials and heavy palletised loads. Three driven wheels with independent steering enable straight, sideways and diagonal travel, plus turning on the spot. Its central driving position, adjustable forks and 80V AC system support narrow-aisle stacking and outdoor yard operations.

Product Description

Central-Seat Multi-directional Counterbalance Forklift

The MiMA MQK40 is a 4.0-tonne electric multi-directional counterbalance forklift with a central driving position. Its rated capacity is 4,000 kg at a 600 mm load centre.

Three-Wheel Drive and Steering

Three 4.5 kW AC drive motors power all three wheels. Independent steering enables straight, sideways and diagonal travel, plus turning on the spot. Straight and sideways travel speeds are both 10–12 km/h.

Fork and Aisle Configuration

Adjustable forks are standard, with an outside spread of 550–1,630 mm. The reference minimum stacking aisle width starts from 3,173 mm and changes according to the load dimensions.

Mast Options

Triplex full-free masts are available with lift heights from 4,500 to 7,500 mm. Standard mast tilt is 1° forward and 3.5° backward. Residual capacity decreases as lift height or load centre increases.

AC System and Lithium Battery

The MQK40 uses three AC drive motors and a 21 kW AC lift motor. Power is supplied by an 80V/600Ah lithium battery with a side-extraction design for battery access and maintenance.

Operation and Safety

The central-seat layout, electronic steering, integrated control handle and wheel-position display support operation in multiple travel directions. Electromagnetic service and parking brakes, OPS monitoring and LED lighting are included.

Frequently Asked Questions

It combines counterbalanced load handling with multi-directional travel while positioning the operator near the vehicle centreline. This supports visibility and control when travelling in different directions.
The main difference is the operator position. The central-seat layout provides a more balanced driving position for straight, sideways and diagonal travel. Model selection should also consider capacity, load centre and vehicle dimensions.
It is designed for long materials, heavy loads and conventional palletised goods. Typical applications include metal profiles, timber, pipes and other extended loads, subject to load-chart verification.
No. The 4,000 kg rating applies at a 600 mm load centre under the rated configuration. According to the load chart, residual capacity at 7,500 mm and a 600 mm load centre is 2,250 kg.
Aisle width depends on load length, load depth, fork spread, rack layout and load overhang. The datasheet gives reference values from 3,173 to 4,173 mm. At least 100 mm additional clearance is recommended for efficient operation.
Standard triplex full-free mast options provide lift heights from 4,500 to 7,500 mm. The required mast should be selected according to lift height, closed mast height, free lift and residual capacity.
Yes. The MQK40 uses three 4.5 kW AC drive motors, with all three wheels driven and independently steered. It also uses electromagnetic service and parking brakes.
Selection requires the load weight, dimensions, load centre, maximum lift height, aisle width, rack layout, floor conditions, operating hours and charging requirements.
