Electric Counterbalance Forklift

1.0-1.5T Compact 3-Wheel Electric Counterbalance Forklift MKA10/15

Load Capacity 1,000 kg
Lift Height 2,500-4,000 mm

MKA10/15 is a compact three-wheel electric counterbalance forklift range for 1,000 and 1,500 kg loads. Its narrow chassis, small turning radius, electric steering and low front overhang support manoeuvring in restricted indoor areas, while low service weight and multiple mast and battery configurations make the trucks suitable for light-duty warehousing, production and approved upper-floor applications.

Ideal For

  • Light pallet handling in compact warehouses and production areas
  • Narrow-aisle stacking and internal horizontal transport
  • Approved upper-floor applications with verified floor capacity

Product Description

Lightweight Electric Forklift for Indoor Handling

The MiMA MKA10/15 is a light-duty electric counterbalance forklift range for warehouses, production areas and commercial facilities. Its compact dimensions and relatively low service weight make it suitable for applications where access, manoeuvring space and floor loading require careful control.

Compact Three-Wheel Layout

The MKA10 has a body width of 912 mm and a turning radius of 1,255 mm. Depending on configuration, the MKA15 has a width of 912-1,010 mm and a turning radius of 1,325-1,415 mm, supporting efficient movement in restricted indoor areas.

Low Front Overhang

Small-diameter front load wheels reduce the distance between the load and the truck chassis. This compact front-end geometry shortens the overall truck length and supports controlled pallet positioning during horizontal transport and stacking.

Electric Steering and AC Drive

A maintenance-free AC drive motor provides responsive travel control, while electric steering reduces steering effort. Turning-speed control, high-lift travel-speed limitation and an electronic maximum-lift limit support predictable operation in compact working areas.

Mast Configurations up to 4,500 mm

The MKA10 offers duplex mast configurations with lift heights up to 4,000 mm. The MKA15 is available with duplex or triplex masts and reaches up to 4,500 mm. Hydraulic levers provide controlled lifting, lowering and mast tilting.

Residual capacity must be confirmed according to lift height, load centre and attachment configuration.

Battery and Floor Configuration

Lead-acid and lithium battery options allow the trucks to be matched to different working hours and charging arrangements. Polyurethane tyres suit smooth indoor floors, while selected MKA15 configurations provide alternative front-tyre options for different surface requirements.

Frequently Asked Questions

The MKA10 handles 1,000 kg and prioritises minimum truck width and turning space. The MKA15 increases capacity to 1,500 kg and offers several chassis, battery and mast configurations, including lift heights up to 4,500 mm.
With a 1,000 × 1,200 mm pallet handled across the forks, the specified aisle width is 2,760 mm for the MKA10 and 2,845-2,925 mm for the MKA15. Actual requirements depend on the selected configuration, load size and operating clearance.
Potentially, but approval must be based on a structural assessment. The calculation should include the forklift’s laden axle loads, battery weight, carried load, point loading, dynamic forces, lift capacity and the complete travel route.
No. At a 500 mm load centre, the reference load chart indicates approximately 400 kg for the MKA10 at 4,000 mm and 600 kg for the MKA15 at 4,500 mm. The final data plate and load chart must always be followed.
Lead-acid batteries suit operations with established charging and maintenance routines. Lithium batteries require less routine maintenance and support more flexible charging. Battery capacity should be selected according to working hours, travel distance, lifting frequency and available charging time.
The range is primarily intended for smooth, level indoor floors. Polyurethane tyres and limited ground clearance make it unsuitable for rough yards, potholes or uneven outdoor surfaces. Any mixed indoor-outdoor use must be assessed according to the selected tyre configuration and ground condition.
Attachments can be configured, but they change the load centre and residual capacity. The reference data indicates capacity reductions of up to 300 kg with an externally mounted sideshift, depending on the model and configuration. Final capacity must be recalculated.
